Grilled chicken sandwich was good. Fried catfish and hush puppies cooked to perfection. Friendly/engaging staff. We would eat here again.
We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Its Friday so we had to have the catfish. We also tried the onion rings. They were served hot and crispy. Yum!! The catfish has a nice light cornmeal coating. My favorite! The place is clean, small and perfect for a quiet Friday night dinner.
I simply "love" this place!!! I stop by every time I come through ... their food is awesome! The burgers are among the best I've ever had! And you've GOT TO TRY their fish!!! And if you do, ask for their "spicy" ranch sauce! The owner is the sweetest guy, and it's always cool in there, and at this time of year, THAT is a BIG DEAL to me. Thanks guys for a job superbly done!!
There's a giant banner outside of this place that claims the best chicken fried steak in Texas. To make that statement in a small place like Brady is one thing, but it's mighty bold to say the best in the whole state. Well, they definitely have the food to back it! The chicken fried steak was legit! Dare your granny to make one better. The only reason this joint fell short was because they didn't advertise the best pecan pie in the state too!! That little slab of pie will send you to the moon and back for seconds! If you aren't into small hometown atmosphere skip it. (Your loss!!) If you're passing through, stop and give this place a try. Don't worry about saving room for dessert while you're there. Take a piece of pie (or two) for the road.
Great hometown burgers and fries, fresh made with fresh ingredients. Other menu items like fish, chicken fried steaks, etc. are often available.
Food was fresh, we got burgers and they were excellent. The place was packed, so we did have a wait. But it was worth it.
Brady's restaurant proved to be a pleasant surprise, offering flavorsome dishes that left no room for complaints. While the location might lack some cleanliness finesse, it adds a distinctive charm to the place. My favorite part was the hush puppies. While my fiancé's was the hot catfish and cold tarter.
